Those workers may have gained their lives by losing their jobs. Plus this hot air windbag will be hiring back as soon as nobody is looking.

WHO NEEDS these kind of people running American businesses anyway?

OMG! Obama won, we have to put our tails between our legs and run away so the big bad liberal doesn't make us pay our fair share of taxes or some horrible thing like that!! EEEEEEiiiii!!!

Bullies are ALWAYS COWARDS!

I'm afraid, so I'm going to beat on someone who is less powerful than I am so I can feel better about myself.

REdonk-U-lous!

They would hold a shotgun over your head and make you work chained together if they could get away with it. This is work place intimidation and blackmail already taking place. Used to do this in South Africa. A-holes like this boss should not be in charge of any thing where a person's safety is concerned...human life holds no value for them outside of how it can be used for personal gain.
Should be sued for lack of humanity.

I know in Canada, firing workers for dubious reasons is illegal.

Why would this be legal in the #1 USA! USA! USA!
