Yes, the timing is suspicious. Honestly, I don't watch too much network news. Not at all. PatrickforB Oct 2022 #5

It is beyond disgusting to see a policy changed after a private company hosts an all-expense-paid "seminar" in Hawaii or Vegas.

Still, this is a prime example of how the capitalist cancer has metastasized deep into all branches and levels of our government.

Honestly, our government is much less a government of, by and for the people, than a government of, by and for corporations. Weiser is not bad, and I would not consider him evil or corrupt, but these corporate-sponsored events do appear a pretty big conflict of interest.

Channel 4 may have done a real service to our democracy by exposing this.

Channel 4 here in Denver leans right. During the Trump America First crap, the newscasters and ads started saying "Colorado First" and they still do today.

Shaun Boyd is particularly bad.

Addendum: I agree that this deserves exposure and should be stopped but the timing on this "expose" is fishy. Just like Comey ahead of the election.

Every once in a while we'll watch MSNBC, but we pretty much confine ourselves to the old British detective shows like Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot. Midsomer Murders and the like. We also think Doc Martin is hilarious.

I like Weiser. He's been good for Colorado, and Jena Griswold is the bomb. She really is. Colorado is a good place to live.
