1. Republican Math

When 303 EV vs 206 EV is a narrow margin of victory. Some Republicans would even claim it as a win for their side and demand that Obama come to them to compromise. Can't wait til Florida widens that gap. Probably by tomorrow night.

Forget the John Burch Society. Very few people heard of them back then. They were the ones claiming EVERYTHING was a commie plot, the most famous being fluoridating water was Soviet mind control.

I'll give you a fine example.

Remember when "Bewitched" was a new show in prime time? There were a group of crazy nutjob preachers who claimed it promoted Satan worshipping.

The difference between then and now is back then people heard that and as a nation we laughed our asses off at those people.

Today FOX "News" would act as if that fringe and their claim had merit. Republicans would then accuse Democrats of not taking the whole thing seriously. They would find some teenage girl, SOMEWHERE who started a fire and claim it was because of the show, then copycats would spring up for their moment of celebrity. Then the Republicans would claim Democrats believe your daughter should worship Satan and set fire to you in your sleep and express their OUTRAGE over it and present themselves as the only thing that can stop the evil.

totally off the deep end in the last 20 years as well. Never heard that about 'Bewitched' (which I loved back then) ... how hilarious. Nor about the John Birchers and flouridation. Reminds me of this: I just got a nursing degree (in middle age) in May, and one of my classmates, a maybe 30-ish nice young woman, presented this thing one day saying that kids reading about the 'butterbeer' in the Harry Potter books could make them want to drink. I just about had to bite my tongue off - I wanted to say "WTF?!? Are you NUTS?".

The "people" want stuff. I'm middle class, I have money, I have a job, I have health insurance, and I want my taxes cut. I VOTED FOR OBAMA!!! Why, cus he's a man who stands by his message! Jeez why cant they ever lose gracefully!! Why mommie, why do the conservatives whine soooo much when they lose???? They need to accept that the "WORLD" does not want their vision of reality, we just don't. And when they finally, finally come to the truth, they will change. Maybe. After watching months and months of their BS on tv and on radio, listening to all those dumb ass pundit and know-it-alls, I finally get to see them all vaporize like the wicked witch in the wizard of oz. THEIR MELTING, THEIR MEEELTING!!!

In the face of adversity and repudiation, the Right Wing displays their true colors:
bigotry, racism, classism, xenophobia, misogyny, and -- above all -- DENIAL. Such
a distorted world view, mired in fantasy, magical thinking and externalization!

Conservatives are impervious to the concept of irony. Responsibility?! They still
can't assume any responsibility for the horrible effects that George Bush's policies
had on the economy. He essentially BROKE the country!

Now we hear the venom spewing out of their wretched mouths. In their delusional
view of the world, the country has been taken hostage by evil forces: minorities who
want "free stuff", parasitic "illegal aliens" of darker complexions, slutty women who
only want access to birth control pills and abortions, etc.........

The talking heads at Fux News and the like have revealed what loathsome, self-
righteous assholes they truly are.

They are incapable of considering an alternate view, a more sane interpretation of
the election results -- rational reasons why women, African-Americans, Hispanics,
immigrants and young people voted for democrats:

They ALL want social and economic justice and fairness. (Not "free stuff&quot
They want descent jobs that pay an equitable and livable wage. (Not a "Walmart
economy" with flat, poverty-level wages)
They want affordable, dependable health care. (Not "welfare&quot
They want affordable housing of their own.
They want an economic system that allows them to save money, have a pension,
not lose their home, not live in debt all of their lives, and which prosecutes
thieves and predators.
They want affordable, quality education from K through College.
They want a competent government that addresses the needs of
the poor and the average person, before those at "the top". (Not a corporatocracy)
They want to be treated as equally important -- not as chattel. (corporations aren't people;
people are people, and women's bodies aren't public property)
They want an equally weighted voice in the public debate.
They want to be free to exercise their right to vote, unimpeded, and have their vote counted.
They come to our country, with nothing, seeking a better life and better opportunities
for themselves and their families. (Not "redistributed wealth&quot
They want a hopeful future, not a repetition of a failed past.

The Republican party offers NONE of these things. NONE!

THAT IS WHY OBAMA WON AND REPUBLICANS LOST -- no matter what type of fuzzy math
or crazy bullshit they try using to comfort themselves.

So sayeth The King.

because he had something planned for those three 'Republican counties' he kept talking about. He was desperately trying to tell his rich donors, 'don't give up on me yet, you KNOW how good I am at this, DON'T listen to the pundits, I will DELIVER as always'!! Lol, but something went terribly, terribly wrong. Who knows, maybe some of his minions developed a conscience?

Anyhow, that's my theory and I make no apologies for it. He steals elections, one way or another, and this time he failed. If only he could have told them why he was so certain!

I dedicate Rove's meltdown to Don Siegelman!
