our political system is. I sense that he's had an honest-to-goodness epiphany about the absurdity coming from the right:

This shows you how broken our political system is. Because I say something nice about someone who does their job well...somehow...somehow, that takes away my endorsement for Mitt Romney?


Apparently it wasn't enough to change his vote, but perhaps his eyes have been opened enough to do something positive in changing his own political behavior that will benefit his own constituency, at the very least.
