Papantonio: How The Wealth Class Screws The Rest Of Us

During the debates, Mitt Romney talked a lot about the need to ease the so-called tax burden on the job creators – which is what he likes to call the Top 1% of America’s wealthiest. But the only thing that will accomplish is putting more money in the pockets of the wealthy, leaving an unfair burden on the middle class. Fidel Castro was not the cause of the revolution in Cuba, stupid rich people were. It was the rich that caused the standard of living to drop to the worst level of poverty in the world. Even Fulgencio Batista went farther than he was comfortable with at the demand of his wealthy masters.

it was supremely stupid. They could have hung onto their decadent paradise by merely allowing the economy to include some consideration of the Cuban people.

The malignant rich, a powerful segment of the wealthy population, seem to believe they have a military structure in place to protect them. They also forget the success of the original Americans against their imperialist oppressors.
