What is this crap?

Nightmare scenario: Election doesn't end

This campaign only feels like it's been going on forever. Really. It has been a mere 14 months since the Iowa Straw Poll. But for those of you living in battleground states and associated television markets, it probably feels a lot longer.
You've probably been thinking, 'There are only a few days left! There is a light at the end of the tunnel!'
But this election is close — at least that's what the polls seem to indicate. And a close election means that the winner may not be clear for hours, maybe even days…maybe even weeks. Why? Because each state has its own, sometimes quirky, state laws that dictate how votes are counted and when recounts are triggered.

It's like every election now must be like 2000. If it isn't, we're gonna scream until we get it that way.

Waaaaah! We want our weeks of torture!!!

Sheesh! Eh?

Except it isn't funny when it happens.

So why do so many people post shit on the Intertubes predicting it?

Well, maybe they're masochists. Or, Moaning Myrtles. Or, glass always empty type of people.

I think President Obama is going to win a decidedly one-sided victory. Probably not as big as 2008, but sufficient to leave no doubt.

Furthermore, Dems will lose no net Senate seats and may even gain. And, even though Dems won't likely take back the House, Dems will turn over more seats than are projected -- maybe many more.

The US experiment with tea is decidedly on the wane.

Watch it happen.
