(200 posts)I am shocked that this is a close race. I am in Iowa where we have, most of the state anyway, voted already and for the last 5 weeks. Please tell me, someone, how Florida can be soooo messed up after a historic stolen election !?!?!?!?! Just smells like thievery & malpheasance.

(1,043 posts)George Herbert Walker Bush still lives there.I am pretty sure he is still hanging on to the puppet strings in Florida.
The race isn't close,Bain Capitol is a huge player in the media industry and their insider cronies are helping them blab the propaganda. In addition they have angered every woman voter on earth with their forceable rape/planned parenthood misogyny so they really are going to go down in a poof of smoke.
We will overcome them, not to worry.
You should get your poll numbers from 538.com... Nate Silver seems to take the hysteria out of election polls.Good Luck.

(200 posts)Thank you-- checking that site out did make me feel a lot better. I just think that suppression of voting is such a colossal crime.

(1,043 posts)Yeah, unfortunately for Mitt Obama is an Attorney.I don't think Mitt thought his cunning plan through when he decided to run for office.I expect that a whole bunch of federal agencies that have capitol letters for names will be on him like a Pitbull on a frizbee real soon.Agencies Like the I.R.S. & the S.E.C.for starters.Mitt in handcuffs? We can only hope, but maybe he can take rick scott, jeb bush, husted & karl rove with him.
I find their lack of empathy for the average human appalling.
I am sure as a member of the LGBT community you have lived in fear of these pigs and their minions for some time now.Not to worry, the sun is coming out for you guys Dr..
As a Medical professional I am sure you have seen far more disgusting examples of their contemptible behavior than I have
As a group,I believe the American Public has had it with their hate and draconian social mechanisms.
Stay chilled,we are beating the pants off of these clowns. If they want to live in the 18th. or 19th. century they can but they aren't dragging you or me back to the middle ages with them...Period!!!

(200 posts)Thank you for the post. Karl Rove is a satanic clown, to be sure.
I saw a You Tube video of a patriotic vet whose married to his husband. Romney sat with him and had a same-sex marriage discussion that was telling to say the least. Romney was unaware that the gentleman is gay. Freaking out about gays living in harmony and committed is ridiculous. My partner and I have our two golden retrievers and are about as domestic a neighbor as one can have. When the gay issue comes up along with disrespectful dialogue, it drives (ostensibly) Christian people insane when I simply quip, "I'll pray for you."
I do pray that right beats wrong in this election. It's odd keeping up with people I knew in college ( Go Hoosiers!) who post pro-Romney things on their Facebook pages. I don't offend and get in their face, but do post a disproportionate pro-Obama barrage and do so daily.
I have been pointing out to my female clients the issue of birth control and what could be at stake. It seems incomprehensible that this apathetic clown thought that he was gonna get shout outs from anyone but males with his view on Planned Parenthood. Utterly stupid. He cannot win tomorrow. Vote everyone! Please vote.

Though I keep wondering if the polls are nearly as close as they say.

We see Mitt for exactly what he is but the message just won't get through to GOP supporters who are willing to vote against their own interests.

(46,130 posts)When Romney debated Ted Kennedy, he tried the same shtik. He had a plan that would create jobs, help the economy, etc. and he'd share it with Kennedy. Kennedy cooly told Romney that he didn't have to share "the Plan" with him; he had to share it with the audience. Kennedy continued, how much would it cost? Romney didn't know. Kennedy continued, what impact would "the Plan" have on the Federal Budget? Romney didn't know. Kennedy handed Mitt his cap when he admonished that as a legislator, you had to know this information. Romney never recovered.
