Jon Stewart told Americans hit hard by Hurricane Sandy to take solace in the fact that no matter how hard they may have it, at least they’re not being flooded by a constant barrage of political attack ads and appearances by presidential candidates that is close to driving the citizens of Ohio insane. -snip-

But the ones we do are horrible. The couple that is worried that gay marriage will be taught in schools. The guy that claims Hungary was socialist even though they were occupied by the Soviet Union. Some idiot named Bachmann puts out ads, I haven't listened to any of those it could cause a traumatic brain injury, the Romney one that sounded like a lawyer trying to put together a class action lawsuit, and a few more too horrible to recount.
