(5,610 posts)and the American "poor people" who earn less than 40k a year have courage, America will have a civil war on their hands. It would have to be a populist, guerrilla action. Americans should not have more serfdom imposed on them and they will not sit idly by as their families are thrown into third world status.
We are the only industrialized nation w/out guaranteed health care and so much more. Yet we are the wealthiest nation on earth...
So far, "they" have been amazingly successful with their propaganda campaign designed to distract the poor (uneducated) from their plight in America (most of us cannot afford international travel to see reality).
IMO, the internet will be the impetus for action. People can see (if they will actually search) how much better other nations treat their "poor."
I do not want my children and grandchildren to be raised in war or poverty. We must change (and not with big brother tactics) to avoid the direction that (especially the GOP) are taking us in.

That was in his "Caucasian Chalk Circle": a play within a play about revolution staged by revolutionaries. That and his "Threepenny Opera" should be reminders to the uber-wealthy of the fact that they're poking a sleeping tiger.
