(16,254 posts)At first, I thought they were a joke. Then, I thought maybe they were for real. Now, I don't know what to think, but if they can actually get into messages, how wonderful for them to expose the Repugs.

(20,998 posts)Dear Anonymous:
I do believe that Rove* and his black-hearted bank of electoral conspirators will do everything they can to swing the national Presidential win toward Mitt Rmoney.
I believe that these same shadowy entities have been responsible for electoral interference and deception since 1998, perhaps even earlier, and have helped change and chart the course for this country, and NOT for the better.
I am dismayed that much more anti-electoral theft actions and policies have not been initiated at the federal level of government. And I find it absolutely repulsive that in a democratic country, rigging the vote through an cadre of dirty tricks and shenanigans is viewed almost as "business as usual."
So please, Anonymous, if you have the capabilities to carry out this warning against Rove* and his conspirators, please do so. History may record that one of the biggest threats to democracy was thwarted on an Anonymous level.

Particularly this paragraph:
Very little modification required. Just replace "Anonymous" with the name of the newspaper or public official!

This one didn't have the same quality of certainty and conviction as some of the previous ones.

(12,977 posts)But it's also true that this video didn't seem to have the production values of most of the others. For example, the voice and the gestures of the figure weren't always well synchronized. And there were no prior videos on the YouTube channel where I viewed it.
The thing is that anyone can "be" Anonymous. This could be just one person trying to shake things up. Nobody's going to stand up and say, "We're the real Anonymous and they're not" -- except in the case of something that could get the group in legal trouble.
So I don't know if this threat is real. But it's certainly drawing attention to the issue.

(1,361 posts)He threatens to turn over evidence of election fraud to the Department of Justice. Eric Holder is in charge of the Department of Justice. He won't do shit just like he hasn't done anything about the Wisconsin fraud, Bush crime family, banksters and so forth.
dtom67
(634 posts)probably bogus. It would be nice if someone would try to prevent election fraud, but don't hold your breath.
I bet there will be an attempt by the GOP; that is why the For-Profit Media keeps calling the race a close one. Now , it is plausible that Romney could win. Romney was done before the first debate, mainly because he continually demonstrated that he represents the 1% only. That hasn't changed. The "debate" gave the media pundits the opportunity to make the race " close ".
Making the race is " close" allows the rigging of the election.

(17,797 posts)....hacking Rove's systems, but these guys could probably launch a massive DOS attack on the servers Rove uses and could probably knock him off-line for days, if not weeks.
Btw, just about everyone, even major corporations are vulnerable to a massive DOS attack (DOS= Denial Of Service), so you really don't want to piss off people like this group.

(1 post)Geeee, wonder if Karl has anything he wants to keep private.
Exposing his darker side could be inconvenient, to say the least.
Say, wonder if more information on the gay hooker checking it at the White House during turdblossoms reign might be forthcoming.
Confirmation of those rumors may a bit.... uncomfortable for old Karl.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE.... Anonymous just do it.
