I was also in the same situation back in 06...The bank wouldn't return my calls...unfortunately the bank foreclosed and they purchased my home .... sold it for more than what was owed....I had over 100k in equity and lost it all....The last 6 years I have payed more attention to the people who we put in office... this year really scares me...GOP reps need to go!...You are 100% right with the democratic party...they are normal thinking people and do care about us...

It really was a nightmarish experience. Having to resubmit the exact same paperwork, refax, multiple times, never knowing what their next decision would be. I'm sorry you had that experience. Maybe I was just lucky; but Nelson's letter definitely got their attention and that set into motion my eventual approval for loan mod.

And the foreclosures keep happening. Should I miss a payment, I'll be back to square one again. TARP was supposed to bail out people who were losing their homes; instead it bailed out the banks, allowing the banks to continue foreclosing on folks (a process Romney wants to speed up).
