Related: About this forumAnti-Business Obama? Wynn's Profit Growth 81 Percent During Obama Term - Caught on Tape!
Call it what you want. But the FoxNews Posterboy of the moment, Steve Wynn, appeared to be caught off guard by John Ralston when talking about what a scary, terrible business person President Obama was to be running the country.
FoxNews has been circulating a clip of Wynn attacking Obama. But what they didn't show you was the part of the clip where Wynn acknowledges his company was the ONLY company in all of Nevada named to Forbe's Fastest Growing Companies list... and that their profit growth is at 81 percent, and that their stock is surging from 35 dollars a share when Obama started to 114 dollars a share now.
They don't show you the part of the clip where he is questioned about throwing money at Karl Rove's 'American Crossroads' SuperPac, or the part of the clip where Wynn is caught saying he is an 'independent' but is found out to be registered as a Republican. (he blames someone else for it?).
They also don't show you the part of the clip where Wynn is reminded that the huge 'earthquake' that sunk Wall Street happened BEFORE Obama '... when George Bush was President!'
I guess FoxNews only wants you to hear what THEY want you to hear. You know. 'Fair and BALANCED'
What a joke.
But I guess that sums up FoxNews.

(5,955 posts)Instead of letting them loot the meager bank accounts of honest people by exploiting their weaknesses. State gambling for charity, with imposed limits on wagers is marginally okay, IMHO. But this all out gambling in private casinos is just a license to steal money from working people, and pensions from retired people.
I'm always amazed when Adelson, Trump and Wynn have the nerve to call themselves 'businessmen' in reference to their running casinos. But then again, PIMPS probably say the same thing.
My favorite line from the Simpsons was when Mr. Burns opened a casino:
"Smithers, I've discovered the perfect business. People just swarm in, empty their pockets onto the table and scuttle away. Nothing can stop me now!"
