Representative Allen West is one of them. This woman has almost certainly seen and heard those statements and taken them to heart without having done any reading on her own. That she argues to Matthews that he ought to, "do his research and he'll see" is what makes it so cringe inducing. Because anyone who had this stuff assigned in school would know the difference between public control over the means of production, which Marx espoused, versus taxation enacted via elected representatives to provide public services.
