Fox News emphasized twice that VMI is a "private" college both before and after the speech. What morons. Established in 1839, the Virginia Military Institute is the oldest "public" military college in the United States and one of the country's six Senior Military Colleges. You can find this fact on 100s of sites on the internet including the school's website.
