First time I watched it. The villan was a woman. At one point, a male character cold cocked her. Punched her to the floor and kicked her repeatedly. Shocking that main stream tv has fallen so low. Turned it off and steamed. Is this a new norm?

(14,400 posts)repeatedly, tied him up again and shot him twice in the chest. It's a 10:00 show and quite a bit of fun to watch.
I see her more as kind of an anti-hero than a villan.

(5,764 posts)...but assuming we're talking about Root? Sociopath... not anti-hero unless her story arc changes drastically in this last episode.

(14,400 posts)don't want to spoil it. I really enjoyed the entire Root story. She's a fantastic "bad guy" her voice and mannerisms are perfect.

(24,634 posts)She did it in cold blood. She killed a good number of people. You see her as an enemy and treat as such. She is not to be taken with kid gloves. Unfortunately to me, well trained killer man or woman ---who kill for greed or money are not really above par and to be treated with kid gloves.

(24,634 posts)From the first episode of the show---there as massive violence, gun play, and even domestic abuse and vengeful killing. The only thing it didn't have was gratuitous sex---oh wait it had that. Okay so the only thing it didn't have was cussing. Everything else was definitely not for children.
