Hayes sat there with the shit eating grin on his face like he nailed Rudy on something but Guiliani rebuffed him as a liar taking cheap shots.

What was that about? Was he right?

What did he do for that, take away Rush's bag o' pills?

Crooks and Liars doesn't say the name of Rudy's company, but it is obviously some sort of shell so that Rudy can say with a straight face that "he" was not hired by Homeland Security and that he only works with "private companies." Yeah, as in he gets hired by his wholly-owned shell corporation that sucks off the government teat.

Sounds like just the sort of government waste he keeps railing against as jsutifying huge cuts to--what else--social programs.

I worked in Manhattan while Giuliani was mayor. Toward the end of his second term he had become something of a joke and a has-been and that was without even considering his drag moments. It was only noun, verb, 9/11 that he recovered any political standing.

The tax cuts are due to expire.
Right away on the face of it you have the fact that what was applied to the tax rate was a cut. The law was structured that the “CUT” was only to last for a (too long) predetermined length of time. Letting them expire is not a tax increase, it is a return to the normal. The cut for most of its existence was touted as a republican strategy to improve the economy. IT FAILED.

Q: Do you know what you call someone who calls letting the cut expire a “tax increase”?
A: A LIAR

and they're sitting on $$$Billions. They're not creating badly needed jobs. Why? Because there's no market for their products because no one--but the 1%--has any money. Better 50% have enough money to by yachts than 1%. There's more than enough to go around. Turn on those spigots and let 'er trickle down, Ronnie!!! A yacht in every slip.

they create fat bank accounts/ The biggest lie the fascist use and there are dummies out there that believe them, one being the top NYC fascist Rudy.

The only way jobs are created is when there is demand for product, not because the rich want to spend their money. Common economics.

Give money back to the 99% and that would create demand, and then create jobs.

Thu Oct 4, 2012, 09:30 PM
Oct 2012

have my driving privileges been suspended?

Of course not.

A license to drive is a temporary privilege, just like the Bush tax cuts are a temporary privilege. Allowing a temporary driving privilege to expire does not create an increase in driving suspensions, just like allowing a temporary tax decrease to expire does not create an increase in taxes.

Returning something to it's normal, default state is not an increase nor a reduction, it's a normalization.

He kept saying "tax cuts for EVERYONE", knowing full well the real debate is for tax cuts for the wealthy.

And Chris was correct in pointing out that Republicans were responsible for the time limit on the Bewsh tax cuts for the wealthy.
