ROVE GROUP DROPS "BONE-SHATTERING" AD ON OBAMA

Thom Hartmann said today that he got word from somewhere that the "October surprise" strategy of the GOP will be to try to "Carterize" Obama as a weak ruler. And sure enough, look at the brand new ad out by Rove and appearing on Foxnation today.

"ROVE GROUP DROPS BONE-SHATTERING AD ON OBAMA" -Fox headline

"2012" thingie

It gives one too much time to remember how George W. Bush failed to prevent the 2001 attacks in which over 3000 Americans were killed. This followed by how long Bush went into hiding flying around in AF1.

He was also seen chatting with the Brazilian PM

Obama cancelled a previously scheduled meeting with Egyptian PM so that an international flap with Israel wouldn't start up in the media. (it was a newspaper who erroneously reported Obama had declined to meet with Bibi - Bibi's office said that report was wrong)

Then, Obama gave a speech many of you wouldn't know about because the media didn't do their job:
President Obama in Ministerial Meeting on Sudan: "The Fate of Millions"
http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/2010/09/24/president-obama-ministerial-meeting-sudan-fate-millions
As described earlier, President Obama attended a meeting of heads of state, and Sudanese leaders, to address the urgent situation in Sudan as part of his long-standing personal commitment to supporting peace in Sudan and ending the genocide in Darfur.
... (he gave a speech)
"To my fellow leaders from Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Asia -- your presence sends an unmistakable message to the Sudanese people and to their leaders that we stand united. ...."

Sep.26 (Saba)- President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi met on Tuesday at the United Nations building with the U.S. President Barack Obama, who welcomed him warmly in this visit to the U.S..

The two leaders reviewed together a number of issues and topics at the bilateral level and the latest developments experienced by Yemen in light of the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism.

President Obama confirmed the support of the United States and its full assistance to Yemen until the success of the transitional period with the secure access to February 2014.

For his part, President Hadi expressed his appreciation to President Obama for his good feelings and his emphasis on standing by Yemen

and

Obama also had "courtesy call" meetings with Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and the current president of the U.N. General Assembly, Vuk Jeremic of Serbia. (Obama's visit with Ban was on a schedule released by the State Department, but was absent from Obama's public schedule released late Monday by the White House.)

And most would know:
Sept 25th:
10:10 AM
Obama delivers remarks to the UN General Assembly; Michelle Obamaalso attends.

12:10 PM
Obama delivers remarks at the Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting.

1:25 PM
Obama departs New York City en route Washington, D.C.

That's what Obama did two weeks after the attack in Bengazi during his less than 2 days in New York where he also stopped in for his interview on the View. He'd dealt with Bengazi long before his trip to New York.

On his watch Sept 11, 2001 ... hmm anyone? Anyone?
Sure Karl lets get Bush and his 'popularity' into this years election debate and tie him to Romney ... go for it.

And that was my first response to the beginning of this video. I got more. Most western diplomats walked out of the UN when Ahmadinejad the Iranian leader spoke recently ... so showing an empty chair of the US delegation representing President Obama is supposed to mean what exactly ??? Let it go Rove, your fear tactics are so 2004 ... this ad will fizzle but that's just my opinion.

I'll get back to the rest of this turds video later. Peace.

Thinks Letterman doesn't like him and Letterman called him out on it, invited him to the show. Romney also thinks the women on The View would be too tough on him ... Forget meeting world leaders Karl, Romney's mental state has even been questioned by his wife if he were to become President. Yikes.

Barack and Michelle Obama interview on 'The View' delivers big ratings

Viewers flocked to "The View" yesterday for a heavily hyped interview with President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. The ABC daytime talk show drew 4.3 million viewers, including over 1.1 million adults 18-49.

That's the most watched episode of "The View" since May 15, 2012 -- which also happened to feature an interview with President Obama.

Among the topics POTUS and FLOTUS discussed with the "View" ladies were the differences between his vision for America and that of his Republican rival Mitt Romney and how Congress should "take some lessons" from their daughter Sasha's basketball team.

Obama gave a similar ratings boost earlier in the month to "The Late Show with David Letterman." As further evidence of the jump "The View" gets from its political coverage, Obama's two appearances marked "The View's" highest rated episodes since May 2, 2011 -- the morning after President Obama unexpectedly announced that Osama bin Laden was dead.

He's on the phone with them whenever.
He looked weak when he was taking down Bin Ladin, at the same time he made a fool of Trump. There are a lot of things going on that only need to know people, know about. That appearance on "The View" was taped" well before UN meeting.

He knows his job is to take care of business while reassuring Americans. He does it well.

The events in Libya will be handled well, I feel certain.

Rove just doesn't know what to do since it was Obama not Bush who ended the threat of Bin Laden.

On edit, the current government in Libya thus far is not that hostile to us. It would be foolish to push them into opposing us. But I have no doubt that Obama will use his drones to deal with any threat should he determine where it comes from.

Who was he shooting those missiles at? Osama bin Laden.

Who ignored Osama bin Laden? Republicans.

Who reduced our counterterrorism resources as soon as he took office? Bush.

Why did he do that? He was listening to his neoconservative chickenhawk advisors.

Who are those same people advising now? Mitt Romney.

This was the main story last week- how he insulted the world leaders when they were here, blah blah blah. I don't recall it getting much traction except for the drama around Bibi which has now fizzled into nothing. Sure the GOP pundits were up in arm about this but- for this to be the only thing Rove has to go with seems pretty lame.
