history will show that the Republican Party...the party that freed the African slaves under the banner of all men being created equal...then turned around and demanded that the first African-American President PROVE he had a legitimate right to that office, and claimed he didn't, and then turned around and obstructed everything he tried to do.

They also held the first African-American Attorney General in Contempt of Congress for a trumped up reason.

Very sad to think that the GOP has come full circle from the racist crap they fought to overcome 150 years ago.

The Republican party went insane, eventually pushing all the moderate Republicans out of the party and handing the reigns over to Tea baggers and the extremists.

In general they said some very nice things and were truthful. Unfortunately, it only took a small time for Fixed News to raise it's ugly head and the game has been on since then. How much better the country would have been had what they said that night sunk into the minds of the GOP.

remember the first rule of plumbing; "Shit flows down hill."
Their orders come from on high.

By the way, I would never have seen this because I absolutely never watch Fox News.
That night in fact I was watching France 24 on line coverage, it was without highly paid pundits who have to word it up to complete their ego driven outlook.

don't want to be ID'd as GOP and so identify as Democrats. Only this time not just the south and not over the Reconstruction but because Teabillies and "Conservatives" embarrass them and the President is just social/center right enough to make them comfortable enough to vote for him over Romney.

Twin progressive values triumphed in the election of Obama. They will again.
In future elections it will be about which party can utilize these values to serve the people. Vote a straight democrat ticket until republicans truly adhere to these values.
