4. This is very disturbing, I thought Atlas was discredited

a couple weeks ago by the medical experts and media. Yet the deathly herd immunity approach which he espouses has been sanctioned by Trump and is the official policy for the pandemic now? Look at how this administration is switching public health strategies and recommendations for Covid every few weeks. This is nuts, and extremely dangerous. How can any advanced country be run this way?

Herd immunity cannot work to erradicate a deadly virus like this one. It only worsens the living conditions for the poor, the sick, the medical professionals, and the economy.
