Bill Maher and Chris Matthews Fight with Conservative Guest Over Why GOP Hates Obama

VIDEO here: http://www.mediaite.com/tv/bill-maher-and-chris-matthews-fight-with-conservative-guest-over-why-gop-hates-obama/

Bill Maher and Chris Matthews squared off with conservative radio host Roger Hedgecock on Real Time tonight over the Republicans’ economic policies and why they hate Obama. Matthews told Hedgecock that most of the economic criticisms have not-too-subtle racial implications, trying to get him to admit that he and his fellow conservatives just have a blanket hatred of Obama. -snip-

say that what we just went through, and are still stuck in, is part of a normal recession cycle I am going to

This is what is partially wrong with the republican party and ALL of their pundits...they are out of touch...actually wilfully ignorant...of the facts of where we are right now. They know they have nothing to offer and would have done the same as Obama to try to shore up the busted financial levee. And then, like Obama, be stuck with the same looming issues on the safety nets (btw...please republicans...stop calling them entitlements...they are in place to help "people"...me, you, your mother, your father, your grandparents...when did we stop caring for "people"?...we seriously need a focus change in our country...although at this stage it would be a "paradigm shift"...sorry, I digressed)

Most of the people get it but looking at Romney and his followers, it is like they are living in a republican utopia in their minds...delusional. Hopefully with Romney's help in this election...people may start to see the disconnect...as he is as disconnected as they come.

when the republican guy kept rattling on & on.....then the camera showed Chris with a big grin on his face, I knew he was getting ready to hit him with some hard facts!! It was great!!

It was funny when Bill told him to calm down & Chris said, 'this is calm!'

I say Chris Matthews was pretty calmed down.

If some jerk-off accused me of lying after I presented him with the reality that just because you're poor doesn't mean you're lazy, I don't think I would have been quite as calm.

Nice dress, though.
