Seth Meyers - Jared Kushner's Failed Testing Plan; Trump Threatens to Ban TikTok: A Closer Look

Seth takes a closer look at the Trump administration scrapping a nationwide testing plan because they wanted to blame Democrats for the coronavirus pandemic.

I needed that after watching the Axios interview w/ Trump and Jonathan Swann. Ugh, it was so painful to have to listen to him for almost 40 minutes, but Swann handled him masterfully.

Great segment! I am glad he's bringing up how Jared and Trump decided to kill any efforts at developing a national strategy to fight the virus because they thought it would be politically expedient and it was only killing people who didn't vote for them anyway. I still wish that would get more attention in the MSM.

I also kind of get a kick out of the Sea Captain thing. I know it's corny and total absurd, but it's just kind of so stupid that it's funny!

But I happened to catch Jonathan Swan interview Kushner who he totally handled, so I figured he could manage Trump. It was aggravating, since Trump was all over the place, addressing questions out of order and trying out the same old lies and excuses, but we sure got some memorable quotes out of that - Jonathan Swan is the best!

And we sure needed Seth's humor tonight, the other shows are in repeats. Seth seems to be more comfortable than he was in his attic, he's moved to his in-laws house, maybe it's where he took his "vacation?" And, as usual, his "Closer Look" was spot on! Yes, he covers the unpleasant news of the day, but it sure is easier to take with his signature humor...
