Although the video is edited to be Trump-centric, Carlin's words unfairly engage in the "both sides" attack that also smears loyal, true, honest and stalwart Democrats.

I guess I just have higher standards. For the ignorant and weak-of-principle, things like this create an atmosphere of negativity: Negativity generates apathy. Apathy discourages voter turnout. Low voter turnout gives Republicans a chance to steal the elections.

Even though the video is "Trump-centric" ... Carlin is engaging the the "both side" bullshit and the New England-style "criticism" which accuses the Democrats as being just as bad as the Republicans. Nothing could be further from the truth.

This isn't helping. It's just giving a certain element an excuse to not vote... again.
