It's difficult to understand what you consider to be "misinformation" since you admitted you didn't watch the ad.

So you feel that Trump voters are NOT turning against him? That they're not planning to vote for Joe Biden?

It is ok to learn from mistakes. It is certainly better than repeating them ad nauseam....

People like Trump make a virtue of never admitting to errors. It takes a certain degree of maturity to swallow one's pride and to back off from egregiously bad positions. A universally unpleasant experience but better than chaining yourself eternally to crap.

Details?

Personally, I "believe" the moon is made of green cheese and won't watch or recognize any facts that dissuade me from my "belief". Just saying.

or at me, for that matter.

I don't need permission to vote against Trump, amd I doubt that you do.

Ads like this are aimed at lifelong Repubicans who somehow feel they need permission to vote for anyone other than a Republican.
and at people who were swept into the Trump cult , are now uncomfortable, but don't clearly see it.

For instance, "He's not a conservative. His spending is deficit." is aimed at the first group. "He lies." is aimed at the second. "It's OK to change your mind" is aimed at both groups.

Some of the logic is poor, but the groups aimed at are not good at logic. The things stated as facts are factual. I don't have a prole with it, or with RVAT.

The volume of ads you are seeing just means to me that we are not the only ones terrified.

than a dozen here and a dozen there. I am not seeing that much change in my red county. I will be doing more GOTV as the election nears, although I will have to change the way I go about it. I will report back then. Maybe I will feel more hopeful.

It's arguable that a Senate flip is as important, if not more so, than a White House flip. Trump could lose but McConnell could retain power, and we get four years of stalemate.

Is this ad an underhanded way to get disenchanted Trump voters to the polls?

All the republicans featured in the video voted in 2016 for Trump. The ad is not targeting new voters. Nothing to suggest these people don't regularly vote.

a reason to get out and vote. Maybe they do vote for Joe Biden. At the same time maybe they vote to retain McConnell, Graham, Collins, etc. I think they're sacrificing Trump to keep the Senate.

The more republicans who vote, overall, is good for the GOP. Helps with House and state races too.

It's easy to dislike Trump. McConnell, Graham, Collins, etc. operate under the radar and have a better chance of getting re-elected.

BTW, we don't know if these are real voters or paid actors.

Those senators are being linked to trump in negative ways. I think we will win the senate with the help of former republicans who want us to have allies who aren't despots and want us to fight pandemics. They also seem to have a limit to the amount of corruption they will accept. I know w bush was corrupt. But, this is on a whole new level.
