I think one reason people are getting buggy is because they have no discernible attention span anymore. This is going to take some time and patience, I hope we're up to it.

RNA viruses are known to mutate rapidly. So far, this virus has mutated enough to identify some sources of infection geographically. In the future, a mutant strain could get past immunity conferred by either a vaccine or having survived it previously.

So far, it doesn't seem to fit the pattern of a chronic, relapsing type of illness. Most people who get it are getting better and that's that.

They have a lot of good and interesting articles (for lack of a better word) about all things science. They are fairly short and have good info.
