I'm guessing that the doctor feels an obligation to get out the facts on a nationally televised forum, but he's got to realize by now that very few of us can stand to listen to Trump lying and applauding himself. Trump has turned these into versions of his rallies and the majority of us are now Plaid Shirt Guy.

(205,404 posts)Since that's what they've turned into. But a daily presser with Dr. Fauci - instead - would be most helpful. However, the way things are, he provably feels an obligation to counter Trump's lies and misinformation. How did we ever end up like this??
