For all those whining about being bored at home......count your blessing. This needs to be seen by all Americans. Enough with the Chernobyl propaganda response by the orange lie bag. I know we are being ruled by Putin, but wake the hell up. I am terrified for my daughter. Just started her carrier after years of education, in a Trauma center. Just turned 30, lost her mom to cancer, who was 40 at the time and just stared HER career, creating a 2 year surgi-tech program at college. My daughter was 10. Be thankful we are bored and listen to birds.

(60,010 posts)4. Finally Ala. is acting, as of...yesterday.
The good news is there are a lot of hospitals in the 5 cities in the state..Mobile, Montgomery, Birmingham and Huntsville all have around 250K people, plus slightly smaller Tuscaloosa.
bad news is the rest of the state is mainly rural, with small hospitals in some, but not all counties.
Lots of retirees in the state.
Today our little town of 6,000 people officially shut down. Courthouse closed, library, of course.
Grocery still open, with shortages, mail still runs. Hospital will not let anyone enter without symptoms check, but we know you can look fine and still be shedding the virus.
I am waiting for states and some big metro areas to close their borders.
