This is the kind of message we need to turn the tide. There are 100-million people who do not vote and studies show they tend to be progressive, but feel disaffected, marginalized, etc.

Be sure to send this to anyone who is not into voting, not just younger folks. Ah, for some reason, some people don't even know what the three branches of their government are, so this helps a bit.

Numerous western democracies have it, and those that do - even when largely unenforced - routinely see turnout rates of 70% or more.

If anybody has an easier, more popular solution, great - but would it really work as well?
