Beliefs tend to close my mind, to other ideas. Words out on the edge can only point to the mysteries. I see two "gods" right now, the moon and Mt. Hood.

I do think that we will be fried like a chicken if we hide behind "big daddy god" and don't take responsibility for cleaning up the spew in the sky.

A really good movie. Well acted. Recommended. Also saw Bombshell. Good liberals will enjoy. RWs won't

Really, I'll probably see it just to see shots of Rome and watch two terrific actors work but I don't want to feel like all its energy is spent in intellectual dishonesty.

The movie is conjecture about what the relationship might have been. It is a warm story about two men devoted to different views of faith, and the role of the RC church. Both men are flawed, with ghosts in their past that seek redemption from each other as much as from their god.

I saw it the night after seeing "Ford vs. Ferrari". Both are fictionalized account of rivals. "Two Popes" is a similar story....without the noisy cars!
