This Man Is Mentally Ill. He's Addlebrained. If You Saw Him In A Bar, You'd Assume He's Plastered.
The President is soft in the head. He's mentally ill, and every elected member of Congress knows it. But the Democrats, by and large, are afraid to talk about it. Why I don't know. It should be ALL they talk about. And the Republicans are worse. Not only refusing to talk about it, but ENABLING an addlebrained madman to remain in a position of extreme power and responsibility. Actually fighting AGAINST people who are trying to get him the hell OUT of there.
I used to think Roman History was cute and quaint, the way they allowed themselves to be ruled by crackpots like Caligula and Nero. But they didn't have a true democracy, so I laughed it off. I used to think English History was cute, too. They way they allowed themselves to be ruled by a nutcase (George III), and tried to keep him distracted, so that he wouldn't mess things up too badly. But eventually, even the 18th Century English passed a law, putting the King in the nuthouse, and letting the Prince Reagent rule.
But what's up with THIS??? The fact is that Trump would have gone the same way (to the nuthouse) LONG AGO if the elected Republicans weren't scared of their VOTING base, who LOVE Trump. Nearly 50% of the American Electorate think this psychopath is a great President. And nearly half of them actually think he's a better President than LINCOLN. And that's a TERRIBLE comment on American Democracy, and the idea of Democracy in general.
Let's not sugar coat this. We've got to DO something about this situation, or the IDEA of DEMOCRACY is FINISHED. If political TRIBALISM can TRUMP (so to speak) RATIONAL, LONG SIGHTED, SELF INTEREST, it proves that democracy doesn't work, and other 'alternatives' become more attractive.

But I don’t think the GOP will do the right thing.
It will be interesting to see if he backs out of delivering the SOTU in Feb.

I think they'll find an excuse to cancel and/or reschedule the SOTU.
He's simply incapable of presenting a lengthy, cohesive speech without losing his train of thought while swaying, slapping the podium, jerking, and slurring.
the "fumes" are sent into the air once, while coal (which he's very fond of) keeps belching poisonous gases into the air forever.
If brains were dynamite the Moron in Chief wouldn't have enough to blow his nose. One of the most ignorant dispshits on the planet actually thinks he's the most learned man on the planet.
