It was the year I got married. The lyrics were scary but of course, being so young I couldn't envision any of it coming true in my lifetime. Now we see they were so prescient. The part about how you'll pick your sons and daughters from a long glass tube - now in vitro is commonplace. Remember the Life magazine cover when the first "test tube" baby was born in England?
I have to say that the music of that era was so memorable. I feel fortunate to have come of age during those times.
