She apparently chose to be uninsured.

I live in NY. There's the ACA and Medicaid if she qualified. It's just a matter of doing the paperwork.
Some would think that it's pretty irresponsible.

I was employed and uninsured all through my twenties because it just cost too much. Workman's comp was all I had. I was lucky to get through that time in my life. So lighten up on her. She was a part-time bartender just getting by. She said 10 years not one year also.

Not so much to others; just ask Speaker Pelosi.

Are there any polls showing how she is polling in her home district?

bankrupted when he spent months in the hospital. the even fixed up his apartment to keep him safe. he did not drive, so if he could not bike home, they gave him cab rides home. he got sick i=from his fright to NYC when he spent a month in USA. spent his last week in my city. he had to make calls to DK to get his bills paid. they even paid for his vacation time lost. they paid for the PHONE calls.
we need to demand better.

To date I have only seen her fight for the welfare of the average American. She is passionate and empathetic. How someone could possibly dislike or dismiss this representative is beyond me. I suspect it’s for the same reasons people “disliked” Obama.

Blindly supporting the Dem establishment as the old guard does it's level best to take the tiniest incremental steps forward on social issues while laying the groundwork for massive losses down the road is SOP it seems. Dems are TERRIBLE at messaging. AOC and the newer members may be rough around the edges at times, but they see the value in trying to take control of the public narrative. Take this thread as an example of the passive aggressive nonsense that passes for discussion. Do people here really think they know her situation so well that they can say whether AOC qualified for Medicaid? Condescend much? AOC is vocally fighting for justice and too many people on this board simply cannot help themselves and have to attack her. The Dems have a major problem with undercutting newer, more inspiring members of their caucus. Across the board they undermine progressives from the primaries straight through to Congress.

Google can supply plenty of supporting evidence. But blue dogs? Nothing but love. Enough already. Pelosi started all this with her "Green dream" insults and weak reaction to the Ilhan Omar controversies. How does someone go out and insult others publicly and then demand that any conflicts be handled privately?
