I am so sick and tired of ignoramuses who put down people because they have a southern accent .
there are several kinds of southern accents, this guy has the most stereotyped one, and part of his appeal is
he is breaking that stereotype.

Some people up north ridiculed him for it. Others thought it only added an interesting flavor to his speech.
If it was good enough for Old Honest Abe, then I reckon it's good enough for anybody.
