Orange County (Orlando) is home to most new arrivals from the island, many moved there after the Hurricane devastated Puerto Rico. They despise Trump, as do the majority of immigrants from Central and Latin America, and the Caribbean. I hope they all come out and toss rolls of paper towels at Trump's motorcade as it passes by the throngs of protesters.

(Note: There's a misconception, spread by corporate media for years, whenever they discuss voting patterns in South Florida, that the Cuban-American community is mostly Republican. That might have been true 30 or 40 years ago, after the anti-Castro Batistianos first arrived in Miami, but the vast majority of young(er) 2nd and 3rd generation Cuban-Americans are very progressive and forward-looking on issues like climate change, immigration, etc. Miami-Dade and Broward Counties are the most solidly Democratic counties in Florida.)

it! Don't show one minute, not one soundbite from it. Let it languish and die. Please?

I know this is just fantasizing. But this cancer would shrivel and die if this were to happen from here out. It feeds off visibility and attention. It hungers for it ... and would die without it.

OK, this article shares only a select few responses. Perhaps those subscribers more prone to venting their spleens online are standing outside the (sh)Amway* Center anxiously, noxiously awaiting the arrival of the mangled apricot hellbeast, his trophy wife, and his adult offspring**.

Mind you, there are a couple of drumpf-humpfers' more coherent -- and relevant --- responses in the article. But -- as a former resident of that particular tragic kingdom of a media market -- I'm surprised they actually included any responses that actually support their decision. Such as...

I appreciate your non-endorsement of Trump in 2020 for all the reasons you listed plus a few more. He could not pass a credit check to get a job as a bank teller, let alone work for the FBI, CIA or Secret Service. He tweets foreign policy. He announced “mass arrests” of immigrants just yesterday. Any time you hear the term “mass arrests,” watch out. Now, after leaving the Iran nuclear deal and threatening to stop all their oil exports, he is cueing (sic) up a military response to an “unprovoked” attack on oil tankers. With him in office, I am embarrassed to be an American. He has to go. Impeach, indict, arrest and imprison.

This almost makes me want to subscribe to an online account to this shit-sheet. ALMOST. It will take years (decades?) for me to forgive them for endorsing this sheer, shrieking nightmare of an electee a few years ago.

*I shit you not: Orange (how appropriate?) County, or City of Orlando sold naming rights to their indoor sports center to the owners of the classic pyramid-scheme business model. While I'm fairly certain the DeVos klan will not directly profit from this event, I wonder if old Betsy didn't have some input on the choice of this particular venue. Stay tuned: the local government's bill for enhanced security and other related expenses will be added to the ever-growing pile of payables at the campaign headquarters. Get in line, Orlando...

**I hesitate to ask, but why are they not parading Barron out in front of this crowd? Likewise, why did they not drag him along to London, where he might have at least evoked minimal sympathy (pity?) from the royals and other Brits? Why are they hiding him? Are they trying to protect him from what he's likely to inherit from this defective gene pool? Is there some issue with a DNA test? Enquiring minds...

Daily newspaper endorsements in the 2016 United States presidential election

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daily_newspaper_endorsements_in_the_2016_United_States_presidential_election

That's the first time I've seen a summary of the endorsements and I'm pleasantly surprised at the ratios. Clearly demonstrates how wrong the electoral college system is for the U.S.

Perhaps you can clarify and have a different recollection. Sometimes papers change their tune.....

Will be interesting to see what they say about the shit-show held there tonight.

Kudos to their editorial board for being rational, open-minded and honest.
