(16,786 posts)Protest and march until the Orange pile of shit and his grifter family leaves as stated in the US Constitution.
Trump can claim he was cheated out of a 2nd term, but the American people spoke. We do not have Kings in this country or Presidents For Life for that matter.
Yes, it will be an ugly and hostile transition. The American people will finally realize what a MISTAKE it was to elect Trump in the first place.

(16,786 posts)So he can delay and take this to the Supreme Court?
All the while President Joe Biden is prevented from taking the oath of office while the Orange POS has this tied up? Things could get "nasty".

(17,863 posts)and resign immediately before 2021 swearing in and have Pence pardon him. He could sweep the federal stuff away for him and his family and cronies.
Still have to deal with the state. That is when the Supreme Court will come up with remarkable 5-4 double jeopardy decisions for him.

(10,208 posts)No, Trump will never go back to playing golf full-time, take up oil painting or just fade into obscurity. We're never going to be rid of him.
After holing up in the White House for months, contesting the election results and filing dozens of suits, he'll flee to Mar-a-Lago, set up a government-in-exile there and declare his tacky golf club an independent country where he can fight extradition back to the U.S. for his many crimes. Trump will be a modern day Chiang Kai-shek, who fled the communist take-over of mainland China in 1949, and set up his own permanent government-in-exile in Taiwan.

(5,477 posts)Once a new President is sworn in, he effectively has NO executive power anymore.
He can hole up in the WH and stamp his feet and hold his breath like the spoiled child he is, but it will do him no good.
He's finished giving orders.
