The Herman Cain revelation really resonated with me since I was just thinking of other "joke" candidates we had, besides Trump, and Herman Cain was the one who came to mind. We kept seeing footage of all the ridiculous and idiotic things that he came out with - and we laughed about them - but no one ever dreamed that he had the slightest chance - kinda like Trump! 
He always made me feel better after a day of stomach churning Trump news, so I figured that others here probably felt the same. And I know that everybody doesn't stay up as late as I do, so this was my contribution to the general sanity of DU... I've been posting these since this time in 2017. 
I started posting the ones I watch - The Daily Show, Colbert and Seth Meyers. They all have become just as political as Bill Maher - and they all skewer Trump every single night! And we sure can use the humor, these days!
