this is more important than it seems at first. after Roseann got canceled for saying some really sick&nasty shit, Trump's buddy Mike Cernovich mobilized a bunch of internet trolls to take down a progressive. they found some extremely sick tasteless tweets Gunn made many years ago that he'd already publicly apologized for and used them to get Gunn fired from his job at Disney/Marvel, where he writes and directs the much-beloved Guardians of the Galaxy movies. Disney's Grand Poobah Allen Horn fired Gunn and reallocated his production crew for GotG3, much to the dismay of many actors and fans. that was a few months ago. Marvel just rehired Gunn this week.
basically, the RWNJ troll farms lost on this one. it's notable considering how often they succeed.
