(205,501 posts)Not the best guests he's ever had, obviously, but this version won't disappear, and I was pleased that they included his "funny bit," always one of my favorite parts of the show!

(22 posts)Because you'd already done so and I've no desire to muscle into your posts from HBO. (My own post is a bootleg.)

(205,501 posts)The thing is, we used to see Bill Maher posted here, but the videos never seemed to last very long - so that's why I go with the official version. Thanks for the consideration and welcome to DU!

(63,221 posts)were going to. It definitely wasn't one of his better ones. Too many right wingers. I don't know why he feels he always needs to have someone from the other side on. I really don't want to hear their opinions and they are all just full of crap anyway. I think he just enjoys arguing with them.

(205,501 posts)But I recognize that they leave out a lot of the panel discussion so I'm sure what you posted is appreciated. And I agree that this wasn't one of his better shows with the RWers that his audience won't appreciate. I do think you're right, that he enjoys arguing with them - but it's not like he can be expecting to change hearts and minds. I watched the show more than once just to see the lineup for next week which looks much more promising - Andrew McCabe, John Heilemann, Andrew Gillum, Jon Tester and Jessica Yellin.
