was when after 35 day government shutdown the first bill that McConnell introduced was not a bill to authorize payment to 1.2 million federal contractors who were not paid during the shutdown but was a bill to eliminate the federal estate tax that mostly benefits his wealthy supporters.

10. Pelosi KNOWS that the Senate won't pass a bill like this,

but she (and the House Democrats) did it anyway. This is smart. It shows voters that Democrats will work to FIX this mess. It's something every Democrat running in 2020 can campaign on, and it's not a pie in the sky promise, it's concrete, real, actual legislation. I love it! It's a win-win for us.

13. Good. I posted about this in early January. The bill was introduced on Day One by the Dems.

Some reps had been working hard behind the scene, out of the glare of the media, so they could hit the ground running with important bills! Great work!
