I just spent some time in this wonderful part of southern Louisiana. The Atchafalaya Basin is an incredible ecosystem. It is our wetland heritage; but it is the "developers'" wetdream. Here are some of my photos from that trip in October/November 2018:

I wondered if it was Cherri Foytlin. She's a force of nature; been following her on FB for years, possibly since Katrina. If you do you can get information on how to support this important cause.
