love watching him as well. I read on the youtube page that this is from 2008, so most likely from his When You Are Engulfed in Flames tour. It was probably posted to youtube in 2014. At any rate, it is great stuff. Thanks for posting.

I'm pretty sure on NPR's "Fresh Air" and he discussed it openly.

It sounded just awful. She didn't want her family to claim her body or come to the memorial service. He apparently had no real contact with her for years before she killed herself. It sounds like a very difficult, complicated situation. She was bipolar and suffered from addiction problems, but the whole thing was just so sad.
