He's so dang funny to me, I'm sure he's not "edgy" enough for many, but his material comes from his real life and rings so true. Not sure what this has to do with CK though?

Peace

And maybe the best comic period.

Patton Oswalt, and CK Louis together as comics that became popular around the same time. I guess statistically, one of them had to be a complete douchebag.

I dig his lounge-lizard schtick, and the fact that he's a Southern Liberal ... he's like the Steve Earle of comedy to me.

I'm a little bit biased for him as he's in the role of Max (TV's Son of TV's Frank) on the rebooted MST3K, and maybe because I'm a magician, balloon twister, and children's entertainer, I love these two routines:

I also like that he's evolved past the original Blue Collar Comedy schtick and talks about his true interactions with the trappings of success. He's the rough southern gentleman that you want to get liquored up so he won't stop talking!

This was actually a lot surlier than I remember him (when he used to wear his glasses) but still totally on-brand and hilarious.

I think he did a set about how Mexican cuisine is only four ingredients somewhat rearranged each time you get them.
