Someone asked him what comedian HE liked. He replied, "Lewis Black. He's got brains, brawn and balls." What an endorsement.

I am so glad I saw this as it linked to Lewis's website and I discovered - to my delight - that not only is he currently on tour, but he's coming here in January. Logging onto the site to buy the tickets, it gave me 10 minutes to plug in all the required info. I got so nervous, I kept hitting the wrong keys and was terrified I'd get bounced out of the site. After much screaming and swearing, I scored my tickets -- FOURTH ROW !!

This is the BEST christmas present I have EVER given myself !!

I just had a fever for two weeks and went for a previously scheduled CT scan of my pancreas. Two hours later my internist called me with the results and asked me if I was feeling OK. I told him, "No, I have had a fever for two weeks". He told me that my kidney was in trouble and I needed to go to the ER right away. I told him that I can't afford $1,000 and why do I need to check into the hospital? He said I needed IVs and strong anti-biotics. I asked if my primary care doctor could prescribe them over the counter and he hesitated and said "Yes, but the hospital would be recommended". The last time I was in the hospital was two years ago for 4 days. The bill was $30,000. I had to pay $4,000 ($ 1,000 a day) out of pocket. I have Blue Shield with the ACA and tax credits. My monthly insur bill is more than my home and car bills combined. We have been discussing Universal Healthcare for at least 25 years (Hillary was told to shut up by the GOP when she tried to get it done during Clinton's terms in the W House). When will we stop this crazy system of bankrupting and killing Americans?

I got anti-biotics, drank tons of fluids and cured the illness at home...and saved myself $1,000.

5. The horror stories of Health Care cost

The charges keep going up. Overcrowding in hospitals is a problem.

Your Medical care is just another story that the GOP does not want to hear about. These people have turned a deaf ear to any kind of improvement that Democrats want to make in this country.

Telling Hillary to "shut up" is just one event in the long sordid history of how they want to screw over the people in this country.

was. he spent a month in USA. he had asthma. he got a sick from his plane t rip & had to spend a few days in a NYC hospital. not only did dk pay for his medical stay, they paid my aunt for the phone calls he needed to make to dk when he was in milw, he got money for the days HE LOST NOT VACATIONING. now that is coverage. and i bet far less hoops than we have to do here.

and he spent many weeks in the hospital before he passed. had pneumonia. he lived alone in an apartment. they put in hand holds & made it easier for him to go back home. he said he was afraid to go to sleep in his last email.

10. The right wing corporate controlled M$M sure has demonized single payer health care.

We pay 10 times more than many other countries for our health care and you know what, I just saw a report that our life expectancy in the U.S. went down for 2017. I repeat, our life expectancy is going down while our costs are going up while millions of Americans are not covered or who have junk policies.

If I hear another person complaining about how AOC has fringe policies, about how she needs to learn the ropes from older wiser politicians I'm going to scream.
