I predicted shortly after the election that there would come a moment when Trump would be both provably a traitor to the United States and President of the United States.

And we have arrived.

He is not an intelligent person, plus the gop protect him no matter what he does. He is "family" Like Ryan said about Russian money "Keep it in the family" One of their own was trying to decide who gets more Russian money, Rorhabacher (Ca. R) or tRump. He was quickly hushed up by Ryan.

I got thrown off my local right wing web site for calling Trump a Putin puppet. I never counted on the Republican Congress protecting a traitor. I never envisioned a Devin Nunes being complicit with a traitor. I guess I should have envisioned Mitch McConnell but my gawd Trump has done more right now to be impeached than Nixon ever dreamed of.

I did envision the corporate controlled right wing M$M protecting Trump but I thought that Trump's crimes and misdemeanors would be so blatant that they would have to report enough of the truth to bring him down.

I mean this new acting AG is a crook with open prejudices against the Mueller investigation. How can he stay in office? I wish we had a fair and balanced M$M, it would help our democracy remain in existence.

Polonium tea and a chemical weapon used on British soil. Near regular harrassment of US and allied forces by Russian aircraft. As a child of the Cold War, I remember presidents, both Democratic and Republican, that might have sailed a couple carrier battle groups into the Black Sea and made it our lake, bitches, in retaliation. I think he does this shit because we let him. Certainly, now that he has his own asset the white house.

Putin only wanted the sanctions lifted. If Trump was going to do that, then fine - he can be President until the sanctions get lifted. Once those are gone Putin really doesn't care one way or the other. Oh yeah he also really, really wanted Hillary to lose. All the talk about the Trump Tower Moscow was just the carrot to get Trump in line.

Isn't it great when the journalists do their job instead joining the cheerleaders?

why were the machinations going on back in 2015 when shitler was just one more member of the Rethuglican scrum and a long shot compared to the relatively saner candidates. Interestingly, the Russkies have been dangling the carrot of a Moscow hotel just out of shitler's reach for years. Could it be that he was compromised in other ways long before this particular operation? I wonder what else he was up to where a Moscow hotel was used as the supposed payoff. The Moscow hotel being Putin's version of Lucy and Charlie Brown and the football.

Maybe gross violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act ($50M bribe to Putin to push the hotel through, where the mere act of suggesting a bribe to a foreign official is a crime), obstruction of justice by cover up (Nixon must be smiling somewhere) and lying to the FBI / Congress are only a part of shitler's worries. He may be thinking, if they know about this, what else do they know about? Thus the continued meltdown.
