1. I remember hearing that and later playing it over & over & over as a little girl...

I was never good enough to play it myself, but I sooo enjoyed hearing him.

10. I never learned to play

anything but my vocal chords, and I got really good at that, but this hit the radio waves when I was a couple years into classical music while enjoying rock that was coming out too. So I learned to function in both worlds for a while. This masterwork really caught my attention, both my brother and I bought the album so I could play it at my leisure. I listened to it every day for at least a year.

If you were a guitar player in 1968 you were required to master Classical Gas or lose your guitaring license. Music regulation was much tougher then.
