President Can't-Be-Bothered

Betty Bowers nails it. I have so many questions.

This is such a minor thing, but so revealing.
I understand he's the president. I understand he's a busy high-level official who sometimes shouldn't need to worry about minor issues like getting rid of something his hands and he has people to assist him. I understand he has a toupee and needs to shield it from the wind.
A normal adult human being would close the umbrella and take it with them.

TRadUMP just abandons it. Doesn't bother to close it or summon someone to take it from him. Doesn't have full hands of papers or a briefcase or anything else that would prevent him from taking two seconds to close it and move it inside with him where someone might help take it from him. Doesn't hold it up to ask for help. Doesn't worry about the wind and the potential hazard of an open umbrella left on the airline stairs. Doesn't take the one step to close it and at least lean it on the wall in the interior of the plane if he's got stuff to do. Never mind you're thirty feet in the air and an umbrella getting sucked into a jet engine might be a problem. Someone else will have to figure out the problem take care of it. He can't be bothered once its utility to him is finished. He lets it fall out of his hand like a useless candy wrapper that someone wants to discard without anyone noticing.

He does not give a shit.

The President of the United States is incapable of figruring out how to close an umbrella to get it through a door and deal with it safely.

I do not blame the second guy just ignoring it. I wouldn't clean up after a 70-year-old dotard either, but I also wouldn't board a plane whose primary occupant isn't even concerned about debris getting sucked into the engine.

What cracked me up was the second guy. He was carrying things in both hands, and just walked around it. A third guy had free hands and so he picked it up, closed it, and took it in
