The half shredded work can still be displayed in "original" condition and be considered an artist's enhancement.

Seldom can performance art be on static display and still impart the intended impact. A pile of scraps laying under a frame wouldn't have the same impact without a video of the event.

Was it a failed prank? Or was the half-shred intended and it's this video that's the prank?
