And they attacked him like a pack of jackals in official uniform. What a brave kid. Medal of Honor should be given to more people. He was doing the MOST American thing we can do, helping folks to vote. One man, one vote, and he was harassed by police. This little vignette is the future for all of us if we don't get out of our comfort zone in the next 3 weeks and stand up and fight. Same place /group of thugs that allowed Sandra Bland to die in jail bc she had the gall to speak up against an officer who pulled her over for a civil infraction...a driving ticket. Ever get one of those? For her, a turn signal failure...was a death sentence.
Texas always acts like they're red red red...and they know their days are numbered. THIS is how they've stayed red red red. TX used to be blue....until they started cheating. Remember that lady Governor? She was so tough.

If you have kids in school...keep them home that weekend and get them to go vote w you. You KNOW they aren't going to do it at school. (most of them). Their permanent residence is home w you for the most part. Even a half-measure election turn-out isn't enough.
Hillary and Obama aren't going to save us. Pretty clear at this point. What good is the 100k education you are giving your kid, if, the nation isn't even a Democracy anymore? Imagine what they'll do to collect that 100k?Did you co-sign the loans? Brrrrr. Keep your kids home and go vote.
YARD SIGNS ARE SO CRITICAL. Get them today. If you have to put them in, and take them out, do so. But, GET THEM. If you live in an Apt or dorm...put them in your windows. It's so important...if it wasn't, why do the Koch Bros make sure there's repub signs all over the place? No walking away...no shitting our pants. Liberals aren't just a bunch of powder puffs like the right likes to imagine. (Liberal tears are big laugh line...until they require some compassion...the Liberal tears are a slap in the face.) We are JUST as bad as they are. We hunt, we pay taxes, we fight at bars and get tough w lifes problems. We lift weights, we work construction, we restore engines, etc etc etc. We enlist in the Armed Services as well. Don't let your 'enemy' define you/us. Liberals have fought tooth and nail in every war and a LOT of repubs came home from war pacifist Democrats. They did that for a reason. War is hell. This is war. When the smoke clears, we can set some guidelines for civility. Now's not the time. Yard signs are a way ignorant people decide who to vote for...they do it by voting for who has the most signs. It's that simple. We need Obama style voting turn-out. We need this so we can rest in our beds and not have to endure politics everyday...all day...for the rest of our lives.
It's time to hire some people who will do their jobs and not try to be celebrities on tv. Politicians get paid the long dollar to do trustworthy work. We have gotten to the point where we have to be involved everyday....ABOVE AND BEYOND the travails we endure ourselves just trying to have decent lives. It's time for ice in our veins and a warrior mentality. We have to win...we will win. 3 weeks more of toil and trouble...Let's get fired UP and ready to roll!! Don't let the sun coming up on Nov 7th be a "Red Dawn".
