A majority of Americans do not want Brett Kavanaugh to be confirmed, yet the senators who support his confirmation do not represent most Americans. Lawrence tells us the Founding Fathers never designed the Senate to be a truly democratic institution, so Americans must "work harder" to make democracy work.

1. Why ?

Because they've been so corrupted now they have to continue corruptly or face removal from office , and face legal consequences for all their crimes against this country , and the American people. trump just made it much worse and more acceptable. Bribes, and payoffs , and funneled money to themselves and their campaigns, which they use ways to get it into their pockets from criminals and dark places they want to hide from the public for them now. It's all a scam where super wealthy donors pay to play, they fund their campaigns for policies to enrich themselves with. So the tax cuts were all bribes paid to them for these huge tax cuts giving them millions more yearly for life, and from cutting your health care, and now they will destroy Social Security , and use the excuse it needs to be fixed while they really destroy it. Kavanaugh will also vote for all State charges of a President and others to become pardoned also with Federal crimes. This makes it where he can then become above the rule of law, and can do as he pleases breaking any laws he wishes without consequences, ever for anything. In other words he could shoot someone on 5th ave. or rape a 13 year old girl in front of a crowd of people beating her at will , and all without any consequences. Follow the money and they all are involved , and paid for their votes.
