As a resident of a drought-plagued state, my first thought was “couldn’t they just sweep? How much water are they wasting?” D’Oh, I’m stupid. Hugely excessive amounts of water there. So, so sorry. North and South Carolinians are going to need so much help. Very few had flood insurance.
