The intelligentsia is closing ranks against this whack job. Chilling - the coming weeks and months will determine how much damage is done to the country until we get back on track. So at least Secretary Brennan thinks there will be a changing of the guard before spring or thereabouts. Amazing, and subtle, shaded way of saying. Played close to the chest.

The very cruel and sad analogy here will leave him standing, exhausted and bleeding, in the arena, wishing for the coup de grace
And we will all cheer for his passing
And that will be the last conscious thing he hears as he stumbles to his knees, and topples to the arena floor
